About Me
I'm Santiago, and I'm a videogame developer currently working freelance. I prefer to work on action 3D games focusing on the feeling of the gameplay and cool factor, but I also have worked on tools and scripts to handle game files. Check out my hard work.
You can also check my CV right here in English or Spanish.
Work
I was the lead gameplay programmer, being in charge of the mechanics that compose the game part of the videogame, but I also worked on making the environment, the props, and the visual effects look good in this 2D-3D setting.
My objective was to make the game feel good to play, while making sure all the mechanics and interactions work without issues.
I worked on the enemy design for this project made in a single-day game jam, designing the AI to pursue the player across the playable area, and improving it to be able to detect and path around the obstacles to keep the player on their toes.
I also implemented animations for both the AI and the player
I worked as the lead and gameplay programmer for this puzzle game made for a 3-day game jam. I focused on making the haunting mechanic work as intended, which includes transfering control between player and objects, and handling the different objects' properties and physics.
This is my first videogame ever! I worked as the sole developer, and focused on polishing basic mechanics like movement, camera control and types, physics, instantiation, and animation control, so I can build a solid foundation for future projects.
This is where I keep the repositories of all the tools and scripts I've made and released so far. From scripts to trainers, everything that isn't a video game is located in here.
